My time on TikTok was full of beautiful moments, building a large community and experiencing some amazing brand collabs. Then one day the LORD told me to lay it down. It didn’t make sense at the time but it has been one of the most fruitful moments of obedience in my life.

Chore Charts & Cleaning Schedules
Thursday Jul 20, 2023
Thursday Jul 20, 2023
We are ALL busy. Whether you work outside of the home or stay at home, homeschool your children or they go to traditional school…we can all attest to the fact that housework can be a bit much. As someone who stays at home and works from home while homeschooling, I feel your pain. Laundry used to pile high, dishes would be overflowing out of the sink and we would be in our pajamas from the day before.
Enter in my cleaning schedule and chore chart routine. What we do is nothing revolutionary but it has proven to be one of the most beneficial habits we’ve added to our home. I pray this episode would inspire you to find the flow that works best for your own household.

Wednesday Jun 28, 2023
Wednesday Jun 28, 2023
The power within God-given female friendships is a beautiful thing. We were never meant to do this life alone but for some reason we have complicated female friendship. Some relationships are closer than others and this is not only okay but by design.
In this week’s episode we are discussing the importance of female friendships, how to be a better friend and how to stop placing expectations on yourself and others to make those friendships fit into the random boxes we’ve built.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone ? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Proverbs 27:6
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.
Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
Proverbs 18:24
A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Every year I try to set a reading goal. Whether or not I reach that goal is another story, haha. I decided to aim for 24 books, that's only 2 books a month. Seems simple enough right?
Here is what I've read so far in my 2023 reading challenge, what books I've loved and which ones I wasn't super impressed by and why.

365 Days of Dresses Challenge
Monday Jun 05, 2023
Monday Jun 05, 2023
It’s been 6 months of wearing dresses exclusively. When I decided to do the 365 days of dresses challenge I had no idea how I was going to manage. It seemed a bit over the top but heck I’m an over the top kind of girl so I figured why not?! I put all my pants and blouses into storage. I decided to go all in. My closet seemed to dwindle down to nothing but I was so determined to try this. Thanks to Amazon and thrift stores I have been able to build up my closet to fit the needs of this challenge without breaking the bank. The benefits I have experienced have actually shocked me. Find out all about those benefits in this week’s episode! IG: @morganbartel
